The first step in securing your perfect puppy is by filling out our Puppy Application! Applying does not guarantee you will be approved, nor does it commit you to getting a puppy. It simply lets us know that you’re interested and allows us to get to know you and what litter or kind of puppy is the best fit for you. Tell us about yourself!

We will review your application and you can expect to receive a response back from us within 48 to 72 hours after applying with an approval or denial decision. If you are approved, we will add you to your preferred pairings Master Waitlist! Or, if we currently have puppies available and you and your family are open to adding a puppy to your family sooner rather than later, we can discuss which puppy we think is a perfect fit. Waitlist spots are ranked in order of application received date.

Now that your application has been approved, all that's left to do is wait for your puppy. And we promise it is worth it! :)

After a litter of puppies is born, we will reach out to those on that specific pairings Master Waitlist and they will be given the opportunity to submit their $200.00 non-refundable deposit and sign the Non-Refundable Deposit Contract to secure their pick in that litter. (We accept Cash, payments via GoodDog or PayPal, and your fee will is applied toward the final puppy price.) If any choose to wait for a future litter, others from the Master Waitlists will have the opportunity to join that litter list. Each individual/family is allowed to pass three (3) times and remain in their spot on the Master Waitlist. After three (3) passes you then forfeit that spot and we be moved down to the end of that specific list.
Now all thats left is to begin puppy preparations! This includes buying supplies, thinking about call names, puppy-proofing your home, getting education on training a new puppy, and finding a good vet if you don't have one already.

Puppies temperaments are evaluated by us at 7 weeks of age. Once that is completed, everyone on the litter list will receive the puppies Breeders Bootcamp ENS & ESI packet, the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test scorecard of how each puppy did, as well as a helpful guide to proper puppy placement. After that and in order of litter list rank, we will reach out and have you choose which puppy is your pick. Of course, we are also here to offer advice as needed! These evaluations are helpful tools that allows you to choose the puppy that is the best fit for you, your family and lifestyle and gives everyone the best shot at a happy life. If you are interested in a puppy for working purposes, we are more than happy to work with trainers to ensure the perfect fit!

This is the moment you’ve been waiting for! On Go Home Day, if you are picking your puppy up in person, you will have a 1-hour time slot to come and pick up your puppy. This gives us time to get the final purchase contract signed, go over their go home goodie bag and binder, pay and get puppy a little more comfortable before starting their new journey home with you! If you are having your puppy transported to you, we will require you to sign your contract and make your final payment right after you make your puppy pick at 7 weeks old. We are happy to suggest a couple wonderful and reasonable transporters that will give you transport costs and dates. And of course, if you have any questions or concerns, you are always welcome to reach out to us at any time. We are committed to our puppies and their families for their lifetime!

This pricing includes ALL German Shepherd puppies, regardless of gender, color or coat length.
Includes:
• A reusable cloth Kyon Kennel tote,
• Benebone chew and Farm Hounds treats,
• Implanted Fi Nano Microchip,
• A blanket with moms scent and toy with their littermates scent,
• Diamond Naturals Large Breed Puppy food samples,
• A binder with their AKC Registration packet and litter certificate, a copy of the signed contract, Breeders Bootcamp ENS & ESI packet, vaccination records, copies of their parents health testing results along with other helpful printouts,
• Invitation to the private Kyon Kennel Friends & Family Facebook group,
• A twenty-six (26) month hip and elbow guarantee along with lifetime breeder support.
Price: $1,300.00 for Limited AKC Registration or $1,600.00 for Full AKC Registration (only available to approved individuals.)

Absolutely! We can accept payments the same way we accept deposits; cash, via GoodDog or PayPal. You can make payments whenever and for however much you’d like throughout the 8 weeks. When we receive a payment, you’ll get an update regarding your payments made and remaining balance due.
If you reserve a spot on a litter list and have to back out, we will hold your deposit and be in contact with you regarding moving to another waitlist, future litter plans and availability. We will attempt to reach back out to you twice in an attempt to place you, if no answer is received for placement your deposit will be forfeited.
If you reserve a spot for a male puppy and decide you would prefer a female instead and there is no availability on the current litter, we will move you to a future litter that fits the same specifications of the litter you are currently on. In the event availability happens to come open on the litter you initially reserved a spot on, we will immediately reach out to you to notify you of said opening.
