Luna was the second dog we added to our program! We acquired her from a lovely family in Lebanon, Missouri. Luna was a wonderful dog with a great temperament! She could be aloof with strangers but quickly warmed up, especially if they had treats. Luna wasn’t much for a game of fetch but she loved running with the other dogs and swimming in whatever troth, puddle or bowl she could find! Although she was the smallest of the group she didn’t let that stop her and she could hold her own.
Sadly, Luna was diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia on her preliminary OFA health testing so, in October 2022, we retired and rehomed her. It is one of the hardest decisions we’ve had to make, but she went to an absolutely wonderful family and we couldn’t be happier! Luna is loved unconditionally by the Wayland family and her four-legged brother. We cannot thank them enough for welcoming Luna into their home and loving her as much as we did!
