Bear we acquired from a breeder in Indiana and we had had big hopes for this guy! He is a big, sweet, goofy, laid back boy and makes for a great house dog as he loves to just hang out with us and be lazy. When caught in the right mood Bear loves training and has a good food drive but not much of a ball or toy drive. He would much rather run after the other dogs when playing fetch than catch the ball or go after it himself!

In May of 2023, we made the difficult decision to retire Bear from our program. Unfortunately, his temperament was just not up to our breeding standards. After having to rehome Luna due to her hip dysplasia this one hit our family hard too, but in the end, it is what was best for everyone. In July of 2025, Bear went to live with the wonderful Mr. Cheney! We cannot thank Mr. Cheney enough for taking a chance on Bear and providing such a wonderful new home for him. He is now living his best life and traveling the US!
